Book Awards

In the previous month year 4 have been reading the shortlisted books in the picture book category. It was a great completion and at the end we voted for which book we liked.

The books were Ten Pound Pom, The Great Rabbit Chase, Mopoke, A Walk in the bush, Swan lake and lastly Florette.

A Walk in the Bush won but I don’t understand why it won. I don’t understand why it won because everyone said it wasn’t very interesting. In my opinion I thought that is was okay.

I just liked all the other books more except Mopoke. Mopoke went like this highpoke, lowpoke, smallpoke, bigpoke and everyone thought it was the best book because it was funny. I didn’t think it was very funny. In year 4 the favourite was Mopoke.

My personal favourite was Ten Pound Pom. I liked it because it was very interesting and it had a lot of information in it. Ten Pound Pom was good because it always kept you wanting to read more.

What’s your favourite book?

4T science lab

We have been busy designing, carrying out and creatin presentations for our very own experiment.

The time has come for us to share it with you.

We will have them on display in the 4T science lab where you can meet the 4T scientist yourself.

Here is a sneak peek at my experiment.

What do you hypothesise will happen in our experiments?
