This term we have been focusing on landforms and how they change. Landforms change by wind or water hitting them and then dirt and dust move. This is erosion. After erosion happens weathering is next. Weathering is when dust gathers and becomes a rock.

This term we are participating in GRA. GRA is the global read aloud. The global read aloud is where schools all around the world read a selected book. Some of the classes comment on others blogs and compare and contrast with the book and them.
The book we are reading is Amal Unbound. So far Amal Unbound is about a girl named Amal who dreams of being a teacher. She lives in Pakistan and girls don’t have near as good opportunities as the boys. For example the boys schools have bigger libraries than the girl schools. Her mother just had a baby and being the eldest child in her family she has to stay home and help. Which means she can’t go to school but for how long?
