My favourite genre is historic fiction because when I have read books in the genre in they past they have been really interesting and good to read. Some books I have read from this genre is some of the Australian girls serieses. The Australian girls series are 6 series that are set in the 19th or 20th centuries. They are based on true events but with fictional characters like a lot of the books in this genre.
My favourite book chat book so far has been Once by Morris Gleitzman. It is about a boy called Felix who is left in an orphanage. The book starts after 3 years and 8 months after his parents left him. Once Felix left the orphanage he saved a girl named Zelda from a fire. They walked to the city and hid. The book ended when they got caught and that was a big cliffhanger.
The book Once

Hi Paige,
Great first post for 2019! I love the detail you’ve included in your post and the way you’ve included a relevant image.
I can already make a connection between you and I … I also love historical fiction and the Once series is one of my favourite series of books. Do you think you’ll read the other books in the series? I can highly recommend them, especially since Once finishes with a cliffhanger!
In answer to your question, my favourite genres are probably historical fiction and world cultures because I love learning about different times and places.
